Weird Google Countdown Timer?

Im sure this is old but Ive just noticed it
If you go to Google and click 'Im Feeling Lucky' without anything entered into the search box, a strange countdown timer pops up.

I was on my phone and my finger was too big and clicked the Im Feeling Lucky button instead of the search box :(

Well, at the time of copying the the timer it was 449594, so that is roughly 5 days. 26 + 5 = 31. If it's counting down until the end of the 31'st, then yes it very well could be the countdown to New Years.

I was simply using logistics. Sorry I don't need to use code to find out every little detail. Not to mention it took me about 30 seconds to do that in my head, so, yeah.

Believe me, I like code, but you don't have to solve every problem with it. :D

I'm just saying that what I did was more accurate, and you could definitely validate that it was a countdown until New Years'
