That was because of the Trench Mining add-on. I don't do that stuff anymore. For now..

I can run my 24/7 because I nabbed a broken computer from my school and a friend and I repaired it. It's no beast of a server but it gets the job done. Basically, the only way you'll get a free server is if you know how to fix a junker.

Double click the dedicated.bat file in your blockland folder. 
Then join it like any other server, but you have to hit the "query LAN" button and not the "query internet" button.

hhmmm... if you leave your computer on, wouldn't it be easier to just build a box around yourself, go afk, and then hit alt-tab ?

uses more processing power, because it has to render everything unlike a dedi which just holds the information
