AVG Free has failed me. It let through an attack and it's being cleaned by KIS trial as I speak.
I need a new free anti-malware program. I don't want it to force updates on me like a national socialist, not use a lot of system resources (even though I will only be running it or having it open when I scan stuff), and needs to be effective at its job.
In list form;
- Free
- Effective
- No restarts required when updating
- Can't be hogging up CPU/RAM
- Needs to be at least Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware
- Can't be AVG Free
