downloading add-ons in a server

Um...yeah. So whenever I join a server I can never play because it downloads a crapton of add-ons which I DO NOT WANT!
I need help getting rid of this IF it is possible.

turn off DLing it under options>network
it's that or you can't play the game because you can't see nuthink

What i meant was, I haven't checked the boxes to download stuff, but it is downloading anyways.

You have to, thats Blockland, you can jsut make it download less, but you have to download. So either sit there for an hour (literally) or uninstall.

As a newbie, you will have to sit through long loads. Once you download them, you never have to download it again.

The boxes need to be uncheck to not download the stuff, but I like to have models and textures downloaded so I don't have a gun on my head as a hat =P
