Author Topic: New Graphics Card  (Read 8912 times)

I got this new graphics card for Christmas and i was wondering how good it was (we don't have it installed yet due to a bad power supply)

It's called: Radeon HD 4650, it's from ATI or something like that :/

PROTIP:

If you are going to get anything under a 5870, go Nvidia instead.

Hey look, the guy who assumes that everyone has stuffloads of money. ATI has cheaper cards that are almost as good.

A bunch of people are getting new graphics cards... I suppose I'm up next :o

ya the card was $100.00 :o i hope it's REAL good (we don't have the new power supply yet :/)

You have the mobile version, which is worse.

Aw crap, why didn't anyone tell me I can't replace chip sets? You know I'm not good at internal computer stuffs :c Now idk what to get... Are there external graphics cards?

I've got this. I've overclocked mine to the max, it still runs extremely cool considering its using stock cooling and runs stuff like L4D2 on max (including 8xAA) and GTA:IV on mid-high.

If you have a laptop you're best off with just buying a new computer.
If you have a desktop you can buy a dedicated graphics card.

I gots a 5870 :D

Would it be able to run L4D2 smoothly on lowest to normal graphics?

I would think yes unless you don't have alot of RAM.

what about Borderlands?
