What? And borderlands isn't demanding so it won't lag "like stuff".
Misquoting is a criminal offense.
Borderlands lags on a 9800GT, far superior to that card.
Borderlands lags on a 9600GT, still superior.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it would lag.

Borderlands lags on a 9800GT

I have a 9800m GS and I maxed out Borderlands with no problems.
9800GT > 9800m GS

9800GT > 9800m GS
Yeah, on 800x600 maybe. Or "no problems" means 20-30 FPS, eh?

Not that this had anything to do with it but http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=439&game=Borderlands.

Those are the minimum and recommended requirements.

That game is generally not a demanding game.

If it lags on your 9800GT, 9600GT, or ATI Radeon then your computer must suck.

1366x768, 35-40fps.

That's on my laptop with fraps running.

PROTIP:

If you are going to get anything under a 5870, go Nvidia instead.
I bought the Radeon HD 4890 for $160 which beats out the 275 GTX which is about $250, and almost beats the 285.

Yeah, probably, except the part where I've got a better computer than 99% of Blockland, most likely including your sorry ass piece of stuff. I've just got a wider experience, and know for a fact you're spewing epic bullstuff. Without dynamic shadows enabled, 9800GT gets around 40 fps. With dynamic shadows, its unplayable. 9600GT is even worse. Why in forget's name do you think the 4650 would perform at a playable framerate?

Yeah, I don't consider that playable.

ya the card was $100.00 :o i hope it's REAL good (we don't have the new power supply yet :/)

Might as well dig this up from the beginning.

You could've got a better card for $100.

Yeah, I don't consider that playable.

Well no loving stuff a VIDEO of gameplay doesn't look playable.

Didn't watch the video, don't care. Talking about the fps.

35-40fps is more than playable, stop being a moron.

You're so arrogant. 40fps is playable considering that the human eye can only process 60.

30+ fps means playable.

35-40fps is more than playable, stop being a moron.
For racing, rpgs, adventure, and rts games, maybe. FPS? No.

You're so arrogant. 40fps is playable considering that the human eye can only process 60.
derf derf human eye doesn't process at frames per second, we can simply not differentiate between speeds over around 60. Some can see a difference between 60 and 70, some can't see a difference between 40 and 50. And by your own logic, 40 fps is 20 fps lower than 60 fps, making it not smooth and therefore undesirable.

30+ fps means playable.
Damn, blocklanders have low standards. Godforsaken low standards. I don't know how you live.

You're so arrogant. 40fps is playable considering that the human eye can only process 60.
LOL

That is completely untrue.
