Author Topic: Lava Lamp Help  (Read 1776 times)

Well a lava lamp just came in the mail today (late for christmas) and the bulb was broken >=(

So today I got a new bulb but it is 28 watt but it had a 30 watt so I has been on for a few hours and this is what it looks like right now

I love my DSi <3

So, how long does it usually take a lava lamp to be all... lava-y. or should i just wait and find a 30 watt bulb?

Usually it takes a good 20-30 minutes, when you first turn it on it might take a little longer, maybe 45 minutes.

well its been an hour or two, will wait longer considering im using 28 watt rather than a 30 watt bulb

That's odd, I wouldn't think -2 watts would make a difference like that.

Well, I guess you'll have to get that 30 watt bulb, unless it finally did something by now?

well i got a 40 watt, gonna see what that does.

I hope that 40 watt makes the lava shoot out of the top like a volcano, video tape it just in case.

ill take a pic of the destruction if it happens

Don't worry too much, we will see the result everywhere within a 90-mile diameter.

My lava lamp, after over 5 years of not being used, took over 12 hours until it was working perfectly.

Slam it against the wall untill it becomes lava like :D

It'll have a nice red tint from your blood, too. You're a genius.
