I can't honestly rate it because I haven't been there.

Author Topic: Stone Brick's medieval RPG- that doesn't really look medieval.  (Read 5693 times)

I didn't say it had to be, also Jagex didn't do it first, the Egyptians did.
Or the Greeks, either one.

ANYWAY, what I mean is that it's annoying when people just go by Runescapes ideas, when originality has lost all hope of being used for an add-on.

It looks "meh" in my opinion, and the houses should be more than just brown and lighter brown.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
When I mentioned Jagex being an ass and ruining things, I was talking about the armour, not skills.

It's not done, but I am taking this into context.

I only meant bronze, I just think people should stop using it as armour due to the fact that it wouldn't be any good, and it's a stupid idea.

And Iron and Steel don't count, those are used in almost every game.
and I wasn't talking about leveling, though I should have made that clear, that was about the Bronze Armour again.

TLDR: People should stop copying Runescape by putting Bronze armour in games, since it's a stupid diea and doesn't even make sense.

?
Iron is better then bronze and steel is better then iron.

I know, but I just hate the concept of people using bronze in games.

Well enough of this discussion, any pics of new updates? I might join this some time.

ontopic: interesting, looks spammy where you could've used bigger bricks (on the hills in fight pits), and on the first picture blacksmith, and castle
offtopic: to the badspot picture, i have a good trapping device (i got an arc built with a clock and somewhat a mansion WIP before he cleared :D)

It's not spam, it's just me actually using my bricks. :)

It's very difficult to add intense detail to such a large scale build without massive lag, so no one can really blame the level of detail. One point, maybe get a different colourset with more shades of brown, 'cos some buildings look too alike to the mud/ earth all around. Apart from that, it's really coming on well.

Some stuff are very crude and not detailed enough.

The trees are extremely bothersome, I mean they don't look that great, they're just racking up brick counts REALLY fast.

Why not go with simpler trees, like the default ones, or at least the less spammy ones.

What do you mean it doesn't make sense and is a stupid idea. Bronze is much better armor than nothing. Also, if armors are made through forging you have to have something between nothing and iron that's not leather.

My mother loving piece of stuff cpu has errors so i cant join the server srry.

And that sucks cause it looks sweet! D:>

Bronze isn't very strong, it was used for statues and stuff like that, and it's just plain stupid.

That's all I can say, you'd be better getting sheets of metal and tie them to yourself using pieces of string.

Bronze isn't very strong
You don't know what you're talking about. The strongest bronze (Manganese Bronze) has a minimum tensile strength of 119,000 psi. That's stronger than some of the strongest steels.

Now whether or not tensile strength relates directly to armor durability, I don't know, however, it certainly shows that bronze isn't a weak metal.
