IE: Right Click, Properties, highlight the address URL, right click, Copy (ctrl+c will not work in this window), paste and surround with IMG tags.
FireFox: Right click, copy Image Location, paste and surround with IMG tags.

That's one way, but another:
(Only in Q-R)Drag and drop avatar (using mouse) into quick-reply box. Add IMG tags around it.
Or:
Drag and drop image into URL. Copy URL. Put it in the reply thing and add IMG tags.
