Night Vision isn't just green you know, they are basicly infrared detectors that pickup infared light and cerate a digital image useing it.

May i suggest working on one that Works with the effect of a Dimmed Glow FX, it might work better, then you can tint that green and you have ACTUALLY night vission on no light maps.
