Dedicated server problem.

Whenever I setup a dedicated server it will say that the server is up and running, But when i go into blockland and look at my server it shows it as dead. Can someone help?

If its not dedicated the server works fine besides a had a person who knows somthing about computers to do it for me.

By working fine do you mean that you can connect to it through LAN? Also that "person who knows somthing about computers..." obviously doesn't because its not working. He/she did it wrong.

He doesnt know what hes talking about, because if you arent trying to get on our nerves you have port forwarded. To start, when your running dedicated, click the top left icon on it and say Edit> Mark. From there your code should be copied, and paste it on this topic so i can observe it and see whats wrong.

No i have hosted internet servers before.

Unless it got fixed, I'm pretty sure you can not join your own server through the internet section. It will be dead to you, just click the "Query LAN" and it should be there. If it's unjoinable on LAN I don't know.
