Author Topic: Eyes shift side to side?  (Read 2869 times)

Anyone ever notice that when a person looks another person in the face, their eyes shift left and right about twice a second? I tried Googling it, but couldn't find anything on the subject. Any idea on what it's called or why it happens?

The person is looking back and forth between the other person's eyes.

MYSTERY SOLVED TEAM! Yes you cannot stare at both eyes at the same time so you shift back and forth between 1 eye.

To see both eyes. They both interest you.

You don't want to make the left eye jealous, even though the right one is quite a tease.

Why.
Why would you stare at one eye nonstop? You are shifting back and forth fast so you can see the whole face focused. If you just stared at 1 eye it would be unnatural and if you tried to stare at the middle of their face it would be blurry and unfocused.

Instead of asking the internet, ask someone who actually did it.

What?

What?
It's like saying "hey, can you tell me why this guy did this thing even though even I don't know why?"
It's not like we're psychic or something, even though it is kind of obvious anyways.

...what?

...what?
He's saying we shouldn't know why someone we don't know did something and it shouldn't be asked, however in this subject the answer is obvious.

I think JD is unaware that everyone does this, and assumes Warren is asking us why some random person did it.

Yup. Probably.
