Author Topic: How and where, do I get TorqueScript?  (Read 618 times)

I've been waiting for this opportunity to do .cs for once and make great scripts. Anyone know where to get it?

TorqueScript isn't a program.
TorqueScript is a coding language.

Use your favorite BASIC text editor to make .cs scripts, such as Notepad, and Notepad++. Do NOT use things like wordpad or other programs that offer dynamic text formatting.

If you mean where do you get stuff to code for blockland, Then you should already have it if you own blockland.
You dont really need to download anything but blockland. Open nopepad and thats your editor. Save it as a server.cs if its server sided and a client.cs if its client sided.
fdsg dammet chrono.

But, if you have a few thousand dollars, you could get Torque3D.

That doesn't give you TorqueScript, that gives you a game engine.

You do not need Torque3D to make scripts or learn Torquescript in any way. I don't even see how it's relevant to this topic.

Well, you can't "get" TorqueScript. But, you can get Torque3D. If what he wanted was the entire engine for Blockland, to make his own game (perhaps), he would need Torque3D. (and that could have been what he was asking for.)
