Author Topic: Reducing lag?  (Read 3290 times)

Possible ways to reduce lag:

1. Upgrade your graphics drivers or even graphics card to allow higher quality graphics to display easier.

2. Turn off all unesscary add-ons.

3. Upgrade your RAM (Random Accessible Memory)

4. Close all other running programs.

All are pretty simple.

Pretty much what I've been doing so far. I'll see if there are any good RAM upgrades for Macs. Thanks for posting, everyone.

Since you have a Mac, the only thing you can do to make your computer better is buy more ram. You cant replace the cpu or graphics card in macs.

My computer is kinda stuff Every time I see 2x2 spam My BL Crashes.
Every time I get into a Laggy server My Blockland Crashes.

Ram&Video Card >_>
Wich Video card should I get?
Ram I already know.

Not what is stands for, but what it does.
Random Access Memory is a place where your computer dumps all the data it is immediately  using. When you build a brick in Blockland, this data goes into your RAM. When you save bricks, it goes into one drive or another. A common drive that you save things in is your hard drive. When your computer shuts off, all data is emptied from your RAM. I think that even when you exit a program, that specific data is removed from RAM. In short, your computer's RAM is it's short-term memory. RAM enables programs to be run faster than having to search through your hundred gigabytes of hard drive space used. If you are not using up all your RAM at one time, getting more will not help you reduce lag.

But what about ROM?
We need some good ol' ROM.
BuMp and ROM is is for GBA
