Author Topic: What if Blockland had a Theme Song? **Now in looped .ogg!**  (Read 8616 times)

I present to you my first-ever Ambient piece as well as a newer "Blockland Song" (refer to old days in Creativity ;3)
I used a total of about 5-6 synths, and the percussion is all blockland sound effects. 60 BPM, approximately 3 minutes in length. I could see this as the "menu theme" of Blockland. You wait and it just gets more complex and more complex. =D

Now looped:

We need the old main menu mod back.

Oh. Well this actually has notes. :U
I mean, they're different genres, so yeah. I guess they're equal, I dunno. This isn't even designed for a menu theme, y'know? It's more of just "ambient+BL samples" rather than "I'm going to make a menu song specifically for Blockland," because mine isn't just for that purpose. I guess it's listenable otherwise, see what I'm saying?

Why, are the badger/skunk things multiplying?

I know, But BLB wasnt going to be a main menu theme either, until chrono did that.

Blame NewGrounds and its visualizations.
Also, stilll, different genres and different purposes/ways of becoming.
I love how nobody explains in detail what is good/bad. =[

Haha, its really good and good

i have the perfect name for it: "What if Blockland had a theme song?"

When i was listening, i was thinking of that, and it fitted perfectly

Theres a slight error in the sound at the end somewhere, i think it misses a beat or something.

Tom

Meh. You need to start making your music more.. musical. Learn about chord progressions and try experimenting with some more interesting rhythms and harmonies.

Oh yes I know, this was just whipped together. I know about chord progressions and whatnot, I just don't choose to use them. Also, when you say rhythm, are you saying percussion or just the rhythm within the music?
Because percussion and ambient don't mix well.

Edit: Also, who says I don't have more songs that aren't released? ;D Maybe I know exactly what I'm doing, and I'm the typical lazy American. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing and I got lucky.
Who knows. :3

Edit 2: Also, literally impossible to skip a beat when it's sequenced drums. Hehe.
