Author Topic: How much would Gamestop give(cash or store credit) for all this?  (Read 4899 times)

A PS2("fat")
around 6-10(idk) scratched PS2 games
3 good condition PS2 games
a PS3 game
a PS2 controller

How much in cash/store credit?

Really depends on the games.

Probably like $50.

They'll sell it as $300 total though probably.

Just sell it on eBay. They love to try to pretend that your stuff is really worth that when it isn't.

Don't bother with Gamestop.
Full of complete loving idiots.

Don't bother with Gamestop.

Yeah, you'll probably get like $20. I found it best to put in the paper or on ebay.

No more then 80$ for sure.

Don't loving bother with Gamestop.
They:
  • Rip you off
  • if you try to trade a game for another and they see money they will include it.
  • Give you dirt compared to what you sell them
  • full of morons
  • sell horrible quality discs
  • buffing can and could easily destroy a disc by scratching off too much.(buffing is basically a small grinder to scratch off a layer of disc so the systems don't see such big gaps and so it can read it better)

I know gamestop will give 30 bucks for a working xbox 360, so I would say they will give you 3 dollars in store credit for all that. They also wanted to give me 7 bucks for Motorstorm: Pacific Rift 2 weeks after it came out, and 9 bucks for LBP.

Gamestop sucks, they like to rip people off, but its business.

True dat.

I sold a unopened wii there for 20$ I'm a complete dumbass.

I went there going to sell 16 PS2 games that all worked fine, and I ended up only selling them half of them because apparently the other half was worth nothing, but if I wanted to get rid of them I'd have to pay them a stocking fee. And for each game I sold they gave me less then a dollar for them. Utter bullstuff.

It's not like you can't say NO and keep the games/old consoles for yourselves or sell them on ebay, people.
