Author Topic: How much would Gamestop give(cash or store credit) for all this?  (Read 4896 times)

Don't sell that to gamecigaretteop

I wanted to sell an extra copy of a brand new unsealed game to Gamestop and they refused me. They don't take games like that unless it's a return. Thankfully, my friend had a friend who really wanted the game so I got $40 for it instead of the $25 Game stop was offering me for a opened game. I had offered to open it in the store and they still said no. First time I ever heard of that happening.

Best bet, ask your friends if they have friends who would want the games for a better deal.

i traded 3 games
and i got $1.32
the next week i saw those games on the shelf for $24.99
its better to sell the games locally

plus they dont take scratched games

I know gamestop will give 30 bucks for a working xbox 360, so I would say they will give you 3 dollars in store credit for all that. They also wanted to give me 7 bucks for Motorstorm: Pacific Rift 2 weeks after it came out, and 9 bucks for LBP.
I called and they were going to take my Xbox Original for 30 Dollars and my PS2 for 20
I wound up selling them on Craigslist

That's a lie, Gamestop employees are strictly forbidden from telling you prices over the phone, they will just keep insisting you actually come down.

A PS2("fat")
around 6-10(idk) scratched PS2 games
3 good condition PS2 games
a PS3 game
a PS2 controller

How much in cash/store credit?
Go ask them, how would we know?

Yes, Gamestop/EB are ripoffs and give you bare minimal in store credit. No they do not give cash unless you return the game still in it's plastic wrapping with the receipt.

You didn't read my post where they absolutely refused to take my unopened mint in wrapping game. But offered me $25 for store credit if I came back the next day and it was opened.

I bought Guitar Hero: Van Halen on 360 a few days before Christmas with some early Christmas money, played what I wanted to play, and took it to Gamestop a day later along with Saints Row on the 360. They gave me $13. I SPENT $60+ ON THAT loving VAN HALEN GAME AND THEY GIVE ME LIKE $10 FOR IT AISDJAISDJAADF.
