thsi is great for fighting zombies  i had a zombie hunt and this was a weapon

Fun. i like the glassy look, unlike the other one that is grey with a little hole for you to see through
i agree

epicly good for my freebuilds XD people love to get chased around like burgalers so yeah im downloading :P

I like it, but I wish it deflected, too... or at least didn't overwrite the one that DOES deflect.

If you want to deflect things, just use the deflector that Jetz made.

I thought deflecting would be OP for a shield that can melee and be deployed.

I didn't think we were using rubber bullets. I don't see how they would be bouncing off things for no reason.

You still said nothing about my ideas :C
Bullets should ricochet off if they hit the shield at a very small angle.
Also it should get damaged if powerful projectiles hit it (If the projectile makes 60 or more damage, the shield gets damaged).
Don´t know if its possible, but eventually that very powerful projectiles pierce it (Projectile makes more than 120 damage or something -> pierce and eventually let the player drop the shield).

Lolyup
But the reflecting shield IS made of metal, so bullets would ricochet on it.

Shoot a metal door and see if the bullet deflects.

Anything doing over 60 damage that isn't a rifle, explosive, or melee weapon shouldn't be used. That wouldn't be right the shield is only vulnerable to those kinds of weapons. 120 damage should never be done with a single shot in a fair minigame.

Well, if it's a Riot Shield, you would think it is Bullet-Proof. Now, if we are being realistic, when something hits it, from an angle, only, it bounces off, of course. But if it gets hit directly, then it will simply hit the shield, smash, and more than likely drop due to the gravity cat. Oh, and if you really want realism, go play stuff in real life  :cookieMonster:. I was just asking for this to either deflect, or not overwrite the other one that does.

Even if you aren't looking for realism, it would make it more imbalanced than it already is.
If you wanna deflect, use the deflector.
If you wanna block, use the riot shield.

Truth.

The deflector takes skill to deflect.
If the riot shield deflected on it's own.
It would be OP for sure.

Actually, a good idea would be riot shield on back, deflector in hand. :cookieMonster:

;D

If only you can deploy the riot shield easily by right-clicking for something
