Of course I've never seen you build. You play in CityRPs while I think they're horrible servers.

To be honest your opinion is based simply on a certain type or Roleplays servers.
From what you're describing, you're either talking about CityRp style Roleplays and litterally "Life/Family" Rp's.
Certain Rp servers do exceedingly good Roleplays. They don't require loads of fancy Add-Ons or Scripts or even Events. Simply a good build, some good friends and an Imagination can come up with a brilliant story-line that can last for hours and really are quite fun. If you look around you'll find some good ones.

The ones I tend to go upon will defintely include the whole " *Hands 2 gold* *Drinks Beer* " or something like that. Simply because it's easier to understand what's going on then. If you're the sort of person who needs actual items there, I doubt there will be someone willing to cram their server with silly "Beer" or "Flowerpot" items when you can simply say "*Drinks beer*" or "*Places Flowerpot*".
They keep the place tidy and everyone can see whats going in. If you have people throwing items around occasionaly someone will miss it or it will mean someone else in the Server doesn't know what's going on and is left out of the Roleplay.

Even with the whole "*Drink Beer*" thing going on in the Roleplays I go on, the people who are on them are really fantastic roleplayers and end up with brilliant stories of Drama, Action and Suspense.
I'm sure if you were to hang around a Roleplay server a bit and actually watched what people were doing instead of sitting there cringing because someone said "*Hands 2 Coins*" you'd see that they're really fun times.

If you don't like RPs, why join them? The typing bit isn't bad, and is quick, easy and sometimes fun-ish.

RPs - Normal ones, without the scripting stuff are great, except for the idiots who mess everything up by not playing along.

City RP - I hated them, now i like them for the simple reason that killing people on them is REALLY fun and even prison isn't that bad since you get money. RP content isn't great tho.

RPs with no purpose - Plenty of em, the host doesn't know what to do, messes around, changes the server to a machinegun war without telling anyone and so on.
