Menu sounds don't play

For some reason, the menu/clientjoin/clientdrop/adminforce/clearbricks/etc. sounds don't play. It's been like this ever since I installed the game. I don't want to re-install, but I would like to know how else I could fix it.

Also.

Once I edited an add-on and the menu sounds played. Then, when I closed BlockLand to edit some more, it didn't work again.

This happened again about ten minutes ago.
