And it's that. Turns out it has 5 octaves and a whole bunch of functions that would be really useful to me if the LCD display wasn't broken. :c

BUT, 5 octaves and two MIDI out ports? forget yeah I'm going to be making a lot more songs now. :3
It's nothing too important but I've had it since 3rd grade, and now that I actually have a use for it, is really cool.

I have a big wooden one, it has nice bass too so it vibrates, did I mention that its electric and it can record sounds?

You did not.

So it's a sampling keyboard :U
Does it also double as a synthesizer? :3

Also, never ever ever ever use built-in speakers. Go pro.

Its not portable, weights like a ton. Big wooden pianer :3

As opposed to my current maximum of two octaves. :c

Also, mine has nice bass but it's not as good as my speaker speakers. hehe. If you know specs, I have a 15", 200 watt subwoofer. >:3

 Mine is loud! :U

I have the Radioshack clone of this exact same keyboard (MD-992)
Basically put, it sucks compared to the Yamaha DX-7 and the microKORG. Even the Casio CTK-571 is better.

I NEED A MICROKORG. You loving know your stuff, man. I love the microKORG. I was considering the Korg micro X, though, seeing as you can plug keyboards into it. (that's why I find this keyboard useful, hehe, plug that into the micro X, plug the micro X into my computer via microphone or something and chapow, songs.)
But, I know, it does suck. But consider that I was suggested to have it for piano lessons in third grade (which I didn't finish anyways) it's pretty nice for $100, though. (at the time, at least.)

Oh and that was 5 years ago, so yeah. Now it's just home to a bunch of gross spider corpses :x I need to get it cleaned really badly.

That's what I use to play my CS:S
I've got one which is pretty identical to it, but it doesn't fit in the new PS/2 ports. (It's got the bigger one)

Thats what I was thinking when I saw this topic.

Isn't it a mellotron?
