i liked all the updates that disallowed people to trade or drop so much value to another.
it cut down on tons of gold selling, thus tons botters
it stopped high level characters from funding brand new ones
and since the bulk of players are handicapped to security, it cut down on character phishing and stealing.

any person can create a brand new charactor, and right away without skilling can earn 1million gold in only a few short hours.
without the GE, or PVP

if you are poor, you are stupid. that game is flooded with money, and all items are very cheap

One of my friends got 3 armadyl hilts in a spilt in 1 trip in 1 day.
That is now 110M. In one day.
I personally can do about 1.2m every 2 hours.

at 60 smithing you can go into the furnace without paying a fee.
my money making...

buy 1000 addy ore from ge
buy 3000 coal from ge


carry only;
all 1000 coal in notes
like 50k cash or so
28 addy ore at a time, non note

just bank run the 28 addy to furnace, make bars by note trading coal notes to the npc. then carry the bars back to bank and repeat till you finish all 1000 addy bars. takes about 2 hours if your up on your running.

1000 addy bars sells for craploads in ge, and sells very very fast.
dont smith the bars till you level and can craft a addy consumable like arrowheads, darts, throwing axes. whatever.

smithed consumables - sell more then bars - sell more then anything else that can be smithed.

this same strat can be done with any type of bars and ore, but i do addy
when im in the mood i will do 5k bars. and earn nearly 10m in 5 hours

They can sell easily because it is cheap.

your profit is based on ore price vs bar price
and there is never enough rune ore in GE as it takes forever to mine 1000 of them vs 1000 anything else.
so your waiting for the ge to fill your order instead of using addy and earning just as much profit.

and of your trying to make money, smithing weapons and Armour don't earn. you lose money on that

I have 1.1m stuck on another account, I have to figure out how to transfer it.
I could possibly transfer 5k at a time by trading, and do that 5 times a day. That would take 46 days to complete.
