Author Topic: New compooper  (Read 1329 times)

My new computer just came in the mail yesterday. After I spent about an hour hooking everything up and moving the desk around, I tried to turn it on. Nothing happened. After tech support was called, I was told to re-seat the power cables. Sure enough, it worked after that.

Anyway, here's the computer
And here's the graphics card for it I just ordered today
Even though I can't play many games, I've already loaded this up with over 30GBs of games for when the graphics card finally comes. Then I'll finally be able to play all those games I got in that holiday sale on steam :D

Anyway, is this sort of a crappy computer? I don't know that much about specs. I know it's not a really a gaming computer, but at least it's better than my old one that pooped out 3 weeks ago.

It's not really GREAT...but eh.

That GPU is kinda crummy. You could have done a lot better for not that much more money.

Yeah, I know. But at least it's better than my old one.
Dual Core 1.8 GHz processor
1GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400GS, 512MB DDR2 VRAM

Better, but still not great for games.

I know, but I would have to upgrade the PSU, which I'm not supposed to do :(

RAM and CPU are going to bottle kneck the GPU.

I say "compooper" too.  :cookieMonster:

No they aren't.  The GPU isn't that great.

Stick it in her compooper.
