I exported the Sketchup file to a .dae, and when I try to import it into Blender, I get a DLL load failure. Is there a way to fix this, or export the Sketchup file in a different file format?

Don't use sketchup, Problem solved :P

Send me the DAE. I'll import it into blender and size it down properly.

dude i cant even find where to download blender. and i still want to make a addon!

Get Milkshape and use it right, unless you want to spend the long time learning how to use blender properly.

First off you can use Sketchup it works...

So the rest of you here to complain leave. Also you can either take up Koopa Scoopers offer (I would he's good at that sort of thing) or you can do this:

1. Export your model to .Dae
2. Download the latest version of www.Blender.org.
3. Download the Collada importer here and install it.
4. Select the latest version importerand import your file.
5. Profit.

Works for me...

If a week or twois a long time Ive spent WAY to much time on blender.

Once you learn basic controls the rest is just creativity.

I know how to use Blender, sometimes Blender just doesn't do what it says it can.
