Author Topic: If anyone cares for The Elder Scrolls series....  (Read 3091 times)

1.  mmo: maybe  they should have a big one and a small 2-10 mmo.

2.  houses: i think that you should be able to buy a cave you see lots of people living in caves why can't we.(forts are the same way) we should have houses with trap doors, hidden sacks, maybe a thief sometimes and hidden chests. example: in the dark brother hood, dead drop number 3 he has a chest like keg in his house in it is his dark hand robe and hood, we should have that option too.think about it buying a cave or a fort all to your self. or a trap house movable bookshelf, hiden sack with all your armor. a hidden in plane sight keg with all your secret wepons.

3.  stores: i have killed lots of shopkeepers hoping of getting their items but i dont i would like to. I would like to be able run a shop like hire a person(computer generated) and give him the items to put on shelf or put it in a chest.

4.  thiefs: in the forest sometimes a bandit demands 100 coins from you, why cant we?

5.  area/map: i think it should be a huge map of all the es games and more, (oblivion would be nice to)they say that there are several dark brother sanctuaries scattered across the imperial providence i would love to see that!

Spirit doesn't make sense for a name.
Read up on your damn lore.

Soul your ideas sound like stuffty mods.

I'd like them to add a toggle-enable hunger variable. Just for the people who wouldn't be able to get a mod for such things.

I hope this one won't be as small, and like the size of Morrowind.

Also forget that fast travel bullstuff off

I know I don't have to use it, but it still makes the game feel smaller even if I don't.

With HDDs getting so cheap now (even in Australia! I could afford to upgrade to a pair of 1TBs and I'm loving poor and graphics cards that cost you like $30 in the US are close to $180 here) they should do the entire world. Even if the environment is closer to Morrowind than Oblivion detail-wise, just having a framework of the full world would be good. Plus the modding community would basically step in after that; starting from scratch on areas can be pretty daunting, but having a framework of how it should be and working off that is easy.

Also, they should revamp parts of the combat system; dual wielding should be possible, but dual wielding heavy weapons should be very tiring and much less effective than for example using a pair of daggers or a longsword and a dirk.

They should also have better sidequests; possibly multiple Dark Brotherhood sanctums, and your rank within the overall brotherhood is influenced by your rank within each sanctum. Or being able to actually occupy unoccupied areas, like buying a certain area and being able to actually build your own house wherever you like. I want to live on a damn stilthouse in Black Marsh you motherforgeters, make it so.

And really, I think they could scrap the whole voiceacting thing. It makes everyone sound more or less identical. Trying to simulate a world with thousands of individuals within it using any less than half that number of voiceactors is basically guaranteed to turn out a fairly poor quality result, unless they hired Robin Williams or a team of two hundred ventriloquists (or both). Anyone who isn't willing to read a few words can't appreciate the added "emotional depth" that the voiceacting adds anyway, or would add if it weren't for the fact that it had the unfortunate side effect of reinforcing the fact that it's a game because lore-wise there is no cloning. Hence it's ffffffff I'll just go punch something forget ranting more.

Have you ever done the Valen Dreth Dark Brotherhood Quest? It took me a long time before I found out the Nord talking when you first get there was a nord and not an orc.
