Author Topic: Is an ATI Radeon HD 3200 any good?  (Read 868 times)

No netbook has a good GPU.

This one does, better than the Atom :o.

I'd go for it. Better than a netbook with starter.

Not sure. I'm a Nvidia guy myself. But I've had an ATI Radeon product before and it was a decent video card. Then again, it was an old card, wasn't even made for the new PCI. ATI makes some good cards, but I don't know much about them. I know more about Nvidia though, and if you want a good Nvidia card, I would go with those new 2-300 series. Those look epic.

No netbooks have Nvidia, and I just want to know if this is any good. I don't want Nvidia fanboys to stuff on the thread.

The ATi Radeon HD 3200 is a very low-end GPU. You'll have a hard time playing L4D even on low.

You just got proven wrong.

The nVidia ION GPU is actually the GeForce 9400m, which works better than the Radeon HD 3200.

But I have some stuffty integrated Intel card right now and I run L4D at a solid 15fps on low settings.

What the hell are you talking about? He's not going to find a netbook with tri-SLI 295s or something.

It's ok for a netbook, but all netbooks have crummy GPUs.

Max RAM for that Nvidia netbook is 3gb :C
