No I don't, that's just where your server map says I'm located. I live in Almere.

I don't care.

je moeder zuigt kanker harde aardappelen - your mom sucks hard potatoes cancer

wth?

Anyway, i really liked the wikipedia page because it was my only link with blockland at school since EVERYTHING is blocked.

Wow, probally some Roblox person wrecked the Blockland page to get attention.

I used google translator(which can be inaccurate at times). The translation says:
Quote
cancer mother sucks your hard potatoes.

Im sure they'll be back soon as so long as Badspot calls of the trouble.

Going back to the original reason this thread was started...

Kalphiter, Wikipedia policy says that video game screenshots without fair use information are a copyright violation and are therefore deleted.

There is a "non-free use rationale" you have to fill out and attach to the image in order for it to be allowed.

"Non-free images that do not include both a copyright tag and a use rationale may be deleted after seven days." -Wikipedia, non-free use rationale guidelines

I'm assuming you didn't do this, since most people don't.

I don't care.
If you don't care, don't post.  Ban time? :o

Anyways, I don't see how blockland screen shots can be copyrighted.

It's a catch-all policy that applies to all video game screenshots, or really pics of anything you have to pay for.
Wikipedia doesn't want copyright problems on their hands, although I don't think Blockland would care too much about the screenshots in the article.

Anyway, you need a thing on the image's info page like the following:

Quote
Non-free use rationale
Article           = Blockland
Description       = Screenshot of a build in Blockland
Source            = Screenshot taken by me
Portion           = One picture only, a small portion of the commercial product.
Low resolution    = Yes
Purpose           = The image serves as the primary means of visual identification of Blockland. It illustrates educational articles about the game from which the screenshot was taken.
Replaceability    = There is no free equivalent of this screenshot, so the image cannot be replaced by a free image.
Other information = The use of the image will not affect the value of the original work or limit the copyright holder's rights or ability to distribute the original. In particular, copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the game.

More information about this:

Also, the one pic currently in the Blockland article has a form filled out like that, as an example for what we would need to put on the screenshots.

Non-free media use rationale - non-free logo  for Blockland
Description

This is a logo for Blockland.
Source

Blockland on GGE
Article

Blockland
Portion used

The entire logo is used to convey the meaning intended and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the intended image.
Low resolution?

Yes
Purpose of use

Promotion
Replaceable?

Because it is a logo there is almost certainly no free equivalent. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary.
Other information

This image has been used in several websites, and so use on Wikipedia does not make it significantly more accessible or visible than it already is.

If you don't care, don't post.  Ban time? :o

The don't care rule only applies when you do it for the majority of the topic. This topic isn't about him living in Almere.

"I don't care how accurate it is"
