At least get a GTS 250.  A GTX 260 or HD 4870 will run any game out there.

The GTS240 isn't as terrible as you're all saying, but you might want to get a better one.

It's terrible for paying nearly $1400 though.

If he's got the money to burn, whatever let him buy Alienware, but that also means he can get a better video card and put it in himself if needed. I'm sure he can at least handle plugging some pins into a PCI-E slot.

*tears* Your faith in humanity is so refreshing and beautiful. I got 5 bucks says he slams it against a ram slot until it busts and then cries to us.

I personally can't stand W7.

Fifth time explaining, i didnt break the motherboard, it broke during shipping.

Now, Im looking at different video cards, or should i just order this one and roll with it until i need a better one?

Hey. Hey Guys. How's this M15x setup?
I'm going to be getting one in March, since I'm getting into more hardcore gaming.

Inexpensive :O
That's pretty good. I'd think you should also buy a better graphics card with it if you will be doing intense gaming. Otherwise, it's fine. The only problem I see is that it's an HP. I don't like HPs very much, because they're a bit difficult to modify. That one's PCIe slots look a bit finicky.
