Author Topic: Why Does Death Make Us Sad?  (Read 7138 times)

I don't feel bad for Haitians. they have more food and water now with the aid, then they had before.
they should have disasters more often for their own good.
I also dont feel bad for Haitians. Or those little "abused" pets on TV and global warming in the polar regions.

PLUS
9-11 was just a way of the terrorists government saying
HAY GUISE
WE GONNA BOMB YER BILDING NAO
WHY?
BECAUSE WE GET OUR BILDINGS BOMBED EVERYDAY WANT TO SCARE YOU INTO TRUSTING US MORE

no no we die cuz adam an evee ate appl guys

yah i hate the cause of death "died from old age", there is no such thing.
clearly someone had no idea how that person died lol

every death from old people is one organ or another failing ultimately.
"age" is an inaccurate reasoning

no no we die cuz adam an evee ate appl guys

That can be prooven why they lived so long.

@OP

i see..
Que?

what do you mean non-complex
Did you read your own post?
"Someone died, I'm going to play videogames"
It makes it sound like your life is a cycle that is based upon games.

Human nature: we mourn the death of others.

they chose the life of us, badness. if your going to criticize a religion, brush up on your facts.

I dont just play video games
I just go on with my life
Im not the type that cries for 2 weeks straight because of mass death. If my parents died, that another story.
My little brother, thats a WHOLE nother story.

But anyone outside my immediate family(which includes my grandpa) I dont really care about

now, BACK TO ZELDA

I'm religeous too but lets not start anything, or we make Patricks head sad :C

So you're saying it's inhuman to be detached from any sentimentality towards death?

Then you concur with my points?

And you sounded simple because of they way you structured your post.  If you just said how you move on it would have been different.

i must be a martian

Technically all of the organs are failing slowly when that's the cause.  It doesn't necessarily matter which one failed first, but I'm sure there's some sort of criteria for age being the cause of death.

I would think you of all people would understand the following statement:  I don't care if I die, I actually wouldn't be capable of caring, anyway.

What I meant was, imagine your friends and relatives dying in an earthquake and all of your stuff destroyed. Not you yourself dying.

That's point numero uno in the OP.  Regardless, then you're feeling sympathy for a personal scenario, not for the other people.

And even so, I wouldn't mourn their deaths, but the loss which accompanies death, which is what everyone mourns, I think.  Except little kids, who mourn death itself, because it's what they're supposed to do.

dont you die via breathing?
