loving hell no.

You sir have just bought THE worst laptop for 3D gaming.

But Nick how do you know if its good for ga-

I own a Latitude D610. It has NO Video Transform and Lighting Support on its video chip, which is a stuffty Intel 910 GM/910 GMS chip with 128 MB of RAM.
I'm lucky I got a 1GB RAM upgrade for it.

Just for the record Transform and Lighting is a critical thing that literally all 3D games made within the last 10 years require to fully operate. Without T&L there are several graphics glitches and immense lag for 3D things. Blockland fortunately isn't really dependent on it but you won't do great on high-brick amount builds.

If you're lucky, you got a D610 with an ATI Mobility Radeon X300.
Nevermind. Read Miga's post below.

DELL LATITUDE D610'S ARE THE HARDEST LAPTOPS I HAD TO SELL.
THEY ARE loving TERRIBLE.

There is no way it's able to play any games, especially if I can't get Blockland or even Half-Life 2 to run on any of the six I had to sell last winter.

One of them had said ATi Mobility Radeon X300, it could barely play Half-Life 2.

In other words, you just bought a really awful laptop. Also it turns down the clock on the CPU from 2.0 or 1.6 GHz to 800 MHz for no reason, even when its plugged in and doing something.

Blockland worked fine on mine though. But going higher than I think maybe 3000 bricks made it laggy.

Sign.

I'm sorry, but that's just plain pathetic...

It's 512 MB of RAM, a 2 GHz Pentium M and a video chip that sucks ass.

What do you expect? I used to only use it to play Blockland but not anymore.

I really don't know much about that kind of computer stuff.

Only sign with one of your names. :cookieMonster:
I believe that's a burn.
