People for some reason always scream "GEZZ, MAKE IT WITH A SCRIPT GOSHHHHH," so yeah.
This'll shut them up. Real goodly.

could you make a script were in a left 4 dead crosshair, when you look at a zombie in your recticle, that crosshair gets expanded. That would be cool.

I see uses for this.

Grenade launcher/Tank shell: You'd need those lines underneath the reticule to help you aim more accurately

General: Well, the default covers this.

Sniper: You'd want the second of those 2 sniper crosshairs that are made by Camooninja.

The Piloting default crosshair does this, but mainly for angling.

Non-scripted = No chance...you need to at least be able to script a bit to do that.
Besides, that would get annoying since you would have a crosshair changing in the middle of a multi wep DM and it would be off putting (a bit)
If the weapons all had similar themes it would be good.

A good idea is a clientsided or serversided mod that sends out a raycast every 1/8 of a second and if that raycast collides with a person, for however long they collide with the person, it changes to a "locked"-style crosshair.

Projectile spam. Considered doing it, also go too lazy. I'm working (in terms of concept) on a beam rifle that can select multiple targets and spawns a model fixed to their location of a reticle, that'll follow them until the rifle is fired and the beams curve (Like the RYNO V rockets) to that spot.

This is useful. I will design myself some crosshairs to use for the tank, and other gravity projectiles so I can still hit a target directly.
     

Exactly what i`m going to do..building crosshair, artilery, aircraft, and simpe large scope and smg scope.

I want to make a crosshair thing that has a straight line through it to signify the ground, people who have seen Iron man will know what I'm talking about.
