Author Topic: Model Theft - Clockworks, Clockwork?  (Read 4875 times)

Before everyone freaks out about model theft, this isn't the gun to the head reaction. We are trying to solve a problem, problem being. My models can be stolen. If one gets through they can all get through. Now, about Clockwork, Clockworks, I'm trying to get a straight answer from them. This topic being vertistile, get a straight answer from them, and warning you guys. Anyhow. here comes the picture + story.

By brother, (Dandodey) warned him about a model on Clockworks (Be sure to notice the difference) server. I went on, 100% the same.

Now for some talk...

So I began to talk to everyone we mentioned (He even mention Clockturn)

Anyhow, what makes this more serious is I have many custom models. If they all get 'sapped', well, it won't be fun.

So here, discuss this maturely, I'm not trying to kill them.

And also, is there a perfected way of keeping models safe. (Just for more info, I haven't hosted internet. Ever)

tl;dr plz
tl;dr, some forgets are using his model.

You can tell by the title.

That is what this thread is going to decide.

He probably got the model off your server. Bushido told me about how it works, he downloads the model off your server when he connects and is open to use it as he sees fit.

Hint: Name your materials "Choneis1, Choneis2"

tl;dr plz

Too long, didn't read please?

Too long, don't care please?

Too long, please don't care?

I don't care enough to read the thing so I'm posting to look cool?

Even lan servers?

Cool, I'll try that.

Even lan servers?

I take it you never hosted it at all then? If by any instance you did host it, someone probably could of downloaded it directly from there.

Can I just say how well I think you handled those conversations.

You suspected them of model theft, but you were still very polite and I respect that.

:D I know Clockturn. :3 I doubt he knows Clockwork(s).

Clockturn doesn't make weapons.

I agree, it was handled at quite an excellent level. Finally an IRC where both people don't look like dipstuffs.

Hello, I've got a day two update.

From this I believe that Clockwork ( Not Clockworks ) is not part of this. And that Clockworks has recieved the model from somewhere else.

As you can tell by the second picture he left as soon as I began to question deeper. Either he thinks I'm going to drop a anvil on his head, or he's the guy who managed to get my models.

However, as you can tell Clockwork says he does not make add-ons, and Clockworks believes he does. One of them is a lier, or Clockworks is decieved.

a better fitting title would've been
Grand theft Model - Clockwork
