Author Topic: Game Boy Advanced game won't save  (Read 5345 times)

I'd just pop into this board and see if I could get an answer...

I purchased a (used) Pokemon Emerald game, but when I try to save it it says Save Failed. Attempting to save again. And then when it attempts 3 times it says Save Failed. You can still play, but not save, and then it restarts the game and when I try to load it it says The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage.

Anyone know what's wrong?

The internal battery may have died. Without that the game cartridge cannot save.

You could try to change the battery, but you'd be better off buying a new one since the save is already lost.
