Author Topic: Possible to import and export models from a PS2 game?  (Read 1657 times)

Kinda simple to me. Just find a way to get the files of models created for a PS2 game, then they can be released as add-ons. Doing this for Godzilla.

Just because I want to make something that some of you don't like, or understand, dosen't mean I'm stupid and I'm a really bad add-on maker. If you don't want to download the add-on when it's released, don't download it.

Just plug in a USB port that connects the computer to the PS2. Then insert the game disc and the file should be located under the PS2DISC folder. Then click models. The models should be in there.
I'm so mean. =P

Ok. One more problem: How to actully VIEW them.

What format are they?

You will also have to convert them, Maybe resize and then add joints etc.
And it won't fit blocklands style

I can promise you that anything from a PS2 game will have too many polys and be too detailed for BL.

What exactly would you try to put in Blockland?

It's like model theft, except you're actually violating legal copyright.

Oh yeah, and also:
  • PS2 models will be far too high-poly for Blockland
  • They will not be the right scale
  • Or format
  • Or style

No, the fact that you nigh-constantly prove and reprove your idiocy makes you stupid, and the fact that you want to steal models makes you a bad add-on maker.
