YOUNG MAN, DID YOU DOWNLOAD SO CALLED "research"?

Its a so called "anti-Virus" but it says everything is infected

Guys this is actually something that hit my old desktop, at least it sounds like it's that. One day I shut down my computer, and I turn it back on, and there's some weird "virus-scanner" or whatever that you can't close, and if you turn your computer off it starts over again. It gets the names of every website you've ever visited, and says it's some kind of virus. For me, once it was finished, I was able to use my computer and then ran my real virus protection software, and killed the forgeter. However, the odd thing was, that same day was the day my server crashed and was never able to be re-hosted ever again. I find that very odd.
In conclusion, this is actually a pretty bad thing he's got.
