Nerf guns are fun, and when I have my friends over. Even after playing video games. We still wind up with those in our hands shooting each other around the house.

It looks like a toy

The gas tanks that stick off these guns look ridiculous, and while I realize you can get modified chassis to look like real guns, the barrel is still loving huge and you still need a CO2 tank.

I also prefer airsoft because I don't need to buy a ton of CO2 or crates of paintballs to play. It's cheaper, a LOT cheaper, and a lot more fun.

Well, jus sayin.

I know kids who buy airsoft guns and NEVER play it at arenas or anything.
They just want the guns.
If you catch my drift.

I use airsoft for the cheap price, the capability to have a ton more ammo with out lugging around crates of paintballs, they have more of a variety, like a paint ball gun shoots strait and there, there is that one type of paintball guns, as in airsoft you got machine guns that rapidly fire, shot guns that spread and shoot multiple bbs, grenade launcher that shoot allot of bbs, snipers that shoot long range and accurate, and ext. So yeah i do get them be cause they are a little bit more "realistic" and that is stupid why?

Airsoft isn't even fun to play. Its just for kids that want realistic guns because they think its so cool.

You talk about realism vs toys? Why do you need 300 round pistol clips?

Airsoft = playing with toys
Paintball = a sport

It takes 1 shot to take a person. Unless your up against a team of 100 guys I don't see why you even need more then 30 shots.

What do you do with all those BBs? Just imagine some battle scene with everyone mowing in all directions?
