so apperently v14 makes it so you dont need to port forward. i started my "server" with internet on and i asked this random person to see if its up. but he said he didnt see it? why would it be dead if v14 makes it not?

The new system that supposedly eliminates the need to port forward will only work if your router has UPnP enabled. Some older routers do not support this feature.

Arg no edit. I forgot to mention that most routers have UPnP disabled by default. this should not be a problem because it is much easier to enable UPnP then it is to port forward.
