Author Topic: Blockland Doomsday: The Survivors  (Read 2424 times)

This is a project that the now primarily dead clan EBC was working on under my filming/directing.
Even thought the clan is dead, a few others and I have continued the project.

Here is a link to the original trailer (Which sucks and a new one is in the making):

And, here is a link to the first episode, recently finished.:

(I realize there is a flaw where the team deathmatch score shows, but I was
unaware of this until it was posted on youtube. My apologies for this slight error.)

Please provide only constructive critiscism, I.E., ways it can improve.

Note: I had permission from Mr. Cookie to use his build in episode one, and
the subways and Afghan build were released to the public, so I believe I had the right to
use them too. Anyway, watch away.

Amazing, I love the change of the climates and the skele-fying.

Not bad.

I like it, but some things bother me.
The Fraps watermark, you should probably register it.
also you change camera scenes too much, it looks like you can't get one who take done in 1 go.

Also i saw someone typing in the part that they were walking down the tracks.

That's pretty cool. Nice job.

also: 'perfect!'

Download the HUD remover. It blocks out everything that shown up in the video. Register Fraps, and work on the acting, (It was somewhat shaky) Also please use voice acting if possible.

Needs voices, like said.  If you decide not to use voices, fix the spelling errors and whatnot.
Also: Needs more special effects.

The end looked like that picture in Fallout 3 where the Lone Wanderer is walking down a road in the desert with dogmeat walking next to him/her.

Sorta what I was going for.
@all on Fraps watermark: I don't plan on getting fraps soon. But thank you for acknowledging.
@Niliscro: Would you suggest automatic voices (text to speech), or live voice acting? Also, do you know any specific spelling errors? I was pretty sure I got most of them.
@Syntho: Do you have a link to the HUD remover? Could you explain how the acting is shaky exactly? I assume you mean the actors didn't do the talk animation in proper timing, then yes, I will spend time perfecting that.
@Proog: As for the changing scenes, do you mean like in the talking scenes? Because I was trying to avoid the scene being boring, but I will change that as it didn't come out right.

Thanks a lot everyone, you've given many good suggestions. I plan on improving on those things.

It was alright, nothing special but, better than most.

Isn't there something called Movie Mode?
It's F6 or something, and it's there by default.

I'll check that out. I have never heard of that, or stumbled upon it by accident, but thanks for telling me.
