Author Topic: Centering a model?  (Read 620 times)

Ok, so I was texturing a gun with a silencer for someone and when I finished, he tested it. But the gun was on his head and the silencer on the back of the blockhead.

I thought that the gun wasn't centered, and I was right. But isn't there a way to center guns perfectly? Or is it another problem?

Is the joint on the the handle?

What program do you use?

Did you name it as a bone, or as an object?

Did you name that bone "mountPoint"?

Wow, I just realized that the guy who did this didn't name the bones and didn't parented all the objects and bones... Doing it right now.

If you just go into the info box and put in mountPoint next to the little OB: sign, your screwed. You need to name the armature as a bone. That means selecting pose mode while it's selected and pressing N and then putting in the text box that says Bone mountPoint. Not the OB: text box

Oh, right. I'll do that thanks.
