It just says:

Initializing UPnP
List of UPnP Devices on this network:

(Lists three devices)

This process takes about 1-2 minutes of just freezing there like that.  Is this normal for v14 hosting?

Mine did that too and it would host. I was only able to host once with UPnP, at one point my server crashed and I was never able to host with UPnP again :/ But yah it's normal to freeze for 1-2 minutes.

I'm keeping my ports forwarded.

I'm keeping my ports forwarded.

That's what I did. I forwarded my ports again and Enabled UPnP just incase my routers conflict it would still host as a back-up. I can host again now :D

My ports are still forwarded and this process adds a few minutes to my server load time, which is really irritating.  Can anyone help?  Is this normal for v14 Badspot?

Ugh it takes forever to load my server now because UPnP makes it freeze there for like 3-4 minutes.  Can this be fixed?

This worked for me, after v14 I had my ports forwarded and no one could join. So un-forward your ports and try.

At least give me a little reason to do so because it's a big hassle.

Does anyone else have any other solutions?

You're the idiot that installed Blockland to C:\Windows\system32.
That's probably your problem.
