Author Topic: Snaily's (Universal) Combination Lock  (Read 1600 times)

Small, simple to use combination lock, ideal for large builds.

Its combination is defined by a 'server lock', so it's not only easy to change the combination, but its possible to change multiple locks at the same time.

Features:
Uses one brick name (no matter how many combo locks are made)
Uses only default events
Doesn't cause the "Too many events at once!" message to pop up (at least not yet)
Auto calibration feature

You can either download the save here, or download the marco and event saves and make one anywhere. You can get the files at this link: http://www.mediafire.com/?ezumqnujim2

EDIT: By the way, because loading events and marcos require the event saver and marco saver (no really,) they are included in the link. The Event Saver was made by Space Guy, and the Marco Saver was made by Ephialtes.

Can you give us some intructions on how to use it?

Can you give us some intructions on how to use it?

Simple. On the 'client' combination lock, you press the dials (1x1 print bricks) to increment each number. Once you think you have the combination, press the red 'X' button.

If the combination is correct, you should hear a 'ding' (you can change what a correct combination does by changing the first event on the bottom gray 1x4 plate).

For the 'server' (the red combination lock), just click the dials to change the password. You can reset the password by clicking the red '-' button.

As far as making it, the instructions included in the marco save description.

ooh, you made another one, also, can you morph the agile and multiple slots next? (at least try to figure it out :D)

Sorry phflack, I can't get it to work. The agile playertype just doesn't work for me.

You can try using what I got so far though, here. Throw it all in a folder named "Player_MultAndAgile"

Wow, this is pretty neat. Well done.
However, I believe you mean "Macro" not "Marco".

Well, no ones' perfect  :cookieMonster:

EDIT: Hey check it out, I kept punctuation marks outside the parenthesis too!

I don't think you have to, no. Just put those files in a folder named "Player_MultAndAgile" and put it in the addons folder. I don't think it will work, but it may just be my agile playertype not working. Oh well, I tried :/
