When I woke up I also felt a strange tingling sensation, all around my body. Particularly on my lower legs and feet. Its actually really confusing controlling the dream, its not exactly as easy as thinking "PARACHUTE, GO!" and getting a parachute.

Next time, when your dream becomes lucid, get a parachute, make the ground and make your dream peaceful.
"Falling to your death" dreams are way more enjoyable for me. I always get an adrenaline rush when I wake up.

Quite not exactly like that.
But somehow if you force your mind to think that there is a parachute on your back, it may come but you wont go any slower.

I had a Lucid dream once. It involved hot love.

You gotta chill and keep as relaxed as possible.
If you feel you are coming to your senses, well, goodbye 4 second lucid gameplay :S

Usually when I realise that I am dreaming I tell my self to wake up. :c

ME TOO.

I force myself not to wake up, cause I rarely have them. Then somebody sees me in REM sleep and they have no idea what it is so they wake me up. That's when I'm ready to rage.

forget NO. I HATE THOSE. I ALWAYS WAKE UP AND FEEL LIKE I'M FALLING.
