Author Topic: Request: Picture Editing  (Read 1177 times)

I've tried to edit a picture of mine into a "Red Black" picture but I failed.
example:

Picture to edit;
Either this: http://www.files.ather-tech.net/uploads/wh0da/SUC50727.JPG
or this: http://www.files.ather-tech.net/uploads/wh0da/SUC50728.JPG

I think you get the idea.

Also, could you give me an image with a little better lighting? Take in it sunlight for example, with a reflector, no shadows.

I'll do when I get around it.

Not sure if this is what you wanted, but I tried :3

Aye, I had the same problem, it's the background "grainyness" that makes a mess of things. As seen here:

Ugh making that a Jpg really farked the quality.

It doesn't really look visible until you mess with the color but the wall texture and even the skin texture are creating tiny shadows. I could clean it up a bit, blend the colors and whatnot but then you lose that crisp black and white of your example image.

The grainyness is actually not the background's problem tbh. I have an old cam which creates it when it only focus one thing. Thing = my arm/hand.

There's even grain if I shot a blank white paper.

Or maybe the world is grainy and something is wrong with your eyes.

Really old photo graphs? Those are accurate! The world used to actually be in sepia, until the 1940s when color was invented as a reason to green lawn coloring.
