Ps3 Question : Should i turn my Ps3 into a comp?

EDIT : My friend got W7 on his. Same version as mine, works smooth.

DOUBLE EDIT : He got his off a long time ago. Maybe the new ps3 os will slow w7 down?

the ps3 is one of the most powerful computers on earth. it wouldn't be "low end"
it would suck because it is only the processing cells that are good.
the video sucks, the memory sucks, the HD sucks.

and you cant just hook a ps3 CPU cell into a PC, it just dont work like that. nor can you put PC hardware into a ps3.

the fact that you have seen things installed on ps3s is because its been hacked recently.
but short of playing burnt ps3 games on it, its not that useful

mainly because the PS3 does not have a video card, its video+cpu hardware.
a unique thing that cannot just be plugged into other PC's

and on top of that, its video power is meant for 1080p tv
1080p is ass quality for a computer
