Author Topic: Doing a Performance Test on my Comp.  (Read 1897 times)

Currently, my performance score is 3.1 according to Windows Aero, which isn't good but it isn't bad. The 5.0 area is really good so I'm shooting for 4.5/5.0

My laptop has a 5.7.

Right click Computer on Vista or 7 and click Properties.

Well, it's still 3.1, but on the MS website it says that an upwards of 3.0 and higher is sufficent enough for gaming. So I guess it is good, but can you tell me how to increase my score by upgrading my hardware?

That depends. Show us the whole list.

my new laptop hits 5.9
my desktop, well i don't think it goes to 10 so its unfair rating

Mines a 3.3. :D

The performance score is pretty irrelevant if you know your specs.

Yeah, since it goes by lowest sub score everything on mine is 6.0-6.3, but my hard drive disk is old-ish so it has a 5.9 :\
