I remember we had a house that was, by the beach with water under it ( it was old and small D:)

And My brother would always tell me he saw a giant fish under there, and sometimes at night I thought I saw the giant black fish, It was really scary.

That's because Charybdis is just a whirl pool while Scylla was a creature close by. They were never intertwined into a singular phenomenon.
