It's not a projectile, it's a raycast. The pistols 'shoot' raycasts, too, they just aren't as accurate.

But its invisible? Something hits the Guy faster than the Projectile thats a few seconds behind the Invisible bullet?

Oh, and a bug possibly, while "downed" in zombie mode, you can use the shotguns to blast yourself around due to the velocity it adds.
