The .exe type or the .msi type?

What the hell, I edited some script on the Machine pistol and renamed it to PDW And now it’s not just that gun that’s acting up, the single shotgun script wont’ change either, no matter how many times I overwrite it.
Fixed.
Anywho, huntingshotty is acting up, redownloading and seeing if I can fix the script for that.]
And below pic

Gotta change that color.

Glock MP ftw
The gun is just the Machine Pistol script that's been copied.
So it's a weapon by itself.

when are you going to remove hitscan weapons?

when are you going to remove hitscan weapons?
he probably isn't going to.

he probably isn't going to.
hopefully he does
hitscan weapons in the torque engine are basically taking a sledgehammer to the skill ceiling so it falls down and hits the ground
edit: the sledgehammer then takes a dump on the skill ceiling and rides away on a motorcycle while flipping the skill ceiling off

So, you actually find it that difficult to fight someone with a raycasting weapon?  :/

no, hitscan weapons make people easier to hit. this is the problem. weapons that use actual projectiles require more skill to pull off high-speed shots, which increases the amount of skill required to do good. by making all weapons projectile based, you make the game more skill-based, instead of the hitscan crapshoot. i can consistently do better with the hitscan weapons, but they have no place in a fast paced game like blockland dm, so i don't use them

I don't think a dm will be doomed to failure with hitscan weapons. You still have to put an effort to AIM at your target. If you are capable of destroying your enemy with just a sniper ( as long as your not some annoying sniper hiding in a distant corner), then either you are good at aim or your opponent needs to learn how to fight or both. Yes, it can be a challenge to use projectile based weapons and they do work in Blockland, but using hitscan weapons does not  mean that you become an overpowered demi-god of war who can't be touched (unless you're cheating).

hitscan means you automatically do better, due to you not having to compensate for your opponent's movement. it's not that hard to aim at a moving target, but it's hard to hit a moving target with a projectile. this makes deathmatching more skill based, and therefore better

No, hitscan weapons do not grant you insta-skill when you equip the weapon. Yes, it does remove some challenge concerning moving targets. But you still have to put some effort in to have an effect on your target.

You are also not factoring that all the Hitscan weapons will STILL probably miss (Unless you're actually aiming and all that) due to one other factor- ALL T+T weps variate aim while the player is moving. Noone's gonna be racking up the kills by taking the Retro Sniper and constantly running around the map.

Quickedit: Also, the only weapons with raycast- Pistols (which do lowish damage in comparison to other guns) and Snipers (which have a low clipsize and fire rate/reload speed). All the 'skill' based weapons (HMGs, SMGs, Rifles, heck even Light Rifles, which are close to sniper level, shotguns, explosives, the Crossbow...) still are projectile weapons. If you can't find something in this pack that's good because you personally go 'Raycast, ick', I can't help ya.
