Oh wow. Yes, a rip in jeans will tear a hole in the universe! What will they do if you do wear thing to school?

Wow, my school is doing this almost exactly.

They refuse to give you any food if you have no money in your account.

loving bullstuff, i ran out of money today and just figured it out.

Thank god I had some friends who pitched in to get me a lunch.

There is so much stuff in school that is more about proving a point than actually accomplishing anything.

For example, in this situation, the food being thrown out is the same end for the food as feeding it to a student. Except, if it's thrown in the trash it's completely wasted. If it's fed to a student, it fills the stomach of said student. Either way there is no food at the end of the day and the school makes no money from that food.

Another example that happened to me today. We had to turn in a short paper about the theme of a book we just read for Lit; it was a page double spaced. We had passed around a rough draft to let other people edit it and we were supposed to make the suggested changes and turn in a final copy today. I had the final copy but I threw out the first draft. My teacher requested the final version and first draft, when I told him I didn't have it but I knew exactly what I changed from the first version and I would make note of it on the paper he said that the first draft was required. Either way, he sees the first draft and the changes to the final version, but one way I get points off and the other way I get whatever I would normally get for the paper.

I'm really lucky, I get breakfast most mornings (or at least a drink) from school, and if I see I don't have enough money in my account to buy lunch I can send a text message to my mom asking for a refill.

Today's school system is so forgeted.

Today's school system is so forgeted.
America's schools: How we figured out how to integrate children into the workforce after child labor was outlawed.

Too bad I bring a bagged lunch. I can't seem to part from my turkey sandwich.

Today's school system is so forgeted.
Yes yes yes. Why do we have to go 5 days a week with only 2 days off? It would ok if it was 3 days off and 4 days for school, but I think the current way is stupid. I know this is a stupid thing not to like, but still.

Today's school system is so forgeted.

Yes because we cant have anything even 1 person in the school might be allergic to, no religious symbols whatsoever, teaching natural selection without saying its just a theory, teaching love ed so if you don't want to do abstinence anyway, you can learn how to put condoms on, learn about date rape drugs, STD's,etc., No more physical punishment for bratty children because they are "sensitive". I think I would try Australia's school system out and see how less forgeted up it is (Packer will rant how better it is than USA's).

public schools don't entitle you to much. you don't have rights, and its not a law they even have to allow you in the building.
tax payers want their kids to be smart, and the funding to be spent on them. not using that money feeding the poor kids.

its the real world, not a feelings factory.

I think they legally have to supply some food.

Your school is forgeted up man.

technically, schools legally have to have a break (that you can spend eating if you want)
but they dont have to have a lunchroom at all, or even offer food to buy from them.

My school district's been doing this for a while (although they will hand out PB&Js, but they're those little tiny uncrustable things). However, if you're allergic to peanut butter, you get nothing.

-snip-
ur dum. Just because the minority is a minority doesn't mean it's not there. If someone is deathly allergic to something it shouldn't be in the school. Natural selection may as well have been proven by now. The love ed thing is so that people don't run around loving everyone they meet and worsening the STD/population problem. And in case you've somehow managed to avoid learning that beating someone to a pulp isn't good for their mental health: it isn't.
