Author Topic: Flash is Dying =c  (Read 1808 times)

I was reading reviews about the iPad and both of the ones I watched were saying that the iPad doesn't support Flash, but Flash is dying anyway. I like Flash, I think it's easier to use than loving HTML. Screw HTML.

One of them (Blunty3000) said that Flash has massive security holes. Idk, but I love Flash.

ZuneHD needs flash.

Also how is Flash dieing? Everything uses it pretty much.

It's slowly being replaced with HTML5.

YouTube's already experimenting with it.

No chance.
Adobe paid too much to see it sink.
Its sensationalism, the iPad is about as useful as a rock anyway.

No, it has it's uses.

No, it has it's uses.
It does, but its still poorly thought through.

No matter how widespread HTML5 is going to be, there is always stuff that is going to be in Flash, and even if EVERYTHING is replaced by HTML5 or whatever, that hasn't happened and won't happen for a while (hence the "slowly being replaced by HTML5" part).

"We didn't include Flash on this because HTML5 is the future" is a bullstuff excuse on Apple's part.

And furthermore, does the iPad even support HTML5?

Well, you are sort of right because Apple never ran Adobe's products very well in the first place and don't like them that much, LoL.

But yes, I assume that the iPad supports HTML5.

Flash will never die. Even Shockwave is still being used ffs.

HTML5 is so much better than flash.

No, it has it's uses.
It's useless, only people with half the braincells of an average computer user and only buys Apple products for the same dull excuse which is "ITS SHINNY" would get it, besides the costs of that loving thing is way out of proportion.

Flash is amazing will will be the best thing out for awhile.

This is because you are too stupid.

Have you seen any reviews? It's supposed to be on-the-go.

It's not a laptop, not a phone. Just look at some reviews about it.

Here's one:

What the Hell is your problem? What in God's name did I do to you you loving hater?

The iPod touch would have been truly fantastic if it supported flash.
You could log onto armorgames and enjoy everything, use embedded media players, etc and it would become infinitely more popular.
The decision to carry this dysfunction onto their new product is simply foolhardy.

And you pay for what. Its too small to use as a mainstream viewer of anything, its too big for your pocket, and it doesn't have anything the iPod doesn't. I was sad to see that they wasted the time of a designer to make this when they could have been doing something truly groundbreaking.
